ART MADRID’21 – 16ª CONTEMPORARY ART FAIR

One of the most veteran fairs of the so-called “Satellite” has closed its 16th Edition with very good note. We have visited it several years and it is certainly a fair to bear in mind, for its freshness and democratization of Art, which we love because that characteristic is also part of our philosophy.

It was realized in the Crystal Gallery of the Palacio de Cibeles from May 26 to 30, 2021 with some 33 galleries with different proposals of both national and international galleries. It is usually done on dates closer to ARCO (which will be this year from 7 to 11 July 2021) but the characteristics of the current situation will have led to these changes. We can highlight that there was more sculpture and illustration than other years and more variety of styles, which is to be welcomed. It is seen that the artists have researched new themes and inspirations, surely a side effect of the Pandemic.

What we did miss was the prices of the works, which in general were not marked, for putting a snag.

Without a doubt, we recommend visiting and we hope to participate in Art Madrid as soon as possible and that we can continue to feed more Hungry people.
