JAMALAMAJA, is the pseudonym used in the artistic world by Javier Sanchez (Madrid, 1988). This multifaceted artist is an Architect by the ETSA of Madrid and has made a multitude of Workshops of Illustration in addition to being currently training in ceramic sculpture.

He participates in our exhibition “DE PECCATIS ET MORTE” with: “Sin” and “Death”. He has developed some texts in which he was inspired for the realization of these two works:

And sin, who put it on the Earth?

What came first, God or the sinner?

Does man believe it or let himself be seduced by it?

Is it sin not to want to reach the stars?

Is it more sin to dream of touching them?

Death is present all our life, but it only manifests once.

Beginning and end of everything. Light and darkness. Silence and noise. Nudity. I drown. Loneliness.

He has published Illustrations for the Poetry Anthology “Cuerpos que no importa” (2021) and the cover and interior illustrations for “Prosperidad”, by Adrián Peñalver(2021).
