TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF OUR WORKS

They will depend on each work and artist.

Materials and finishes will vary according to the works and the artist is totally responsible for the quality offered. Although HōRNō will always do its best for artists to meet the highest quality requirements we like to offer.

 

If HōRNō offers the sale of Photographs/Reproductions the quality will be Museum Quality, Fine Art:

We use some papers of Canson® & Hahnemüle brands in a weight/thickness of more than 300g/m2 on our copies ( the type of paper used is indicated on each one).

 


 

Technical characteristics:

100 % Cotton.

Acid Free & without any Optical Brightening Agents.

Respect the rule of law ISO 9706.

ISO 9706 conform, it meets the most stringent requirements in terms of the preservation, resistance and durability of the prints.

Conform the requirements of Collectors & Museums.

 

 

Maintenace Conditions

Avoid touching the surface of paper/canvas without cotton gloves.

To optimize the durability of the prints, do not expose the paper/canvas to direct sunlight or extreme temperatures or dampness, as these factors cause potential deterioration.

As long as you don’t frame the work we recommend that you keep it in the packaging to avoid any deterioration.

Avoid storing prints in an environment where you store or use all kinds of paints, varnishes, or solvents.

For any framing / presentation technique, you must use acid-free adhesives or glues, special for it.
